Glenside Kids Treated to Toys R Us Shopping Spree Thanks to Club Alum Donyell Marshall
Thirty youngsters from the Glenside club spent Sunday morning, December 21, shopping for toys at Toys R Us, Wyomissing.

The kids had lots of fun filling their shopping carts with games, toys, dolls and more for themselves and their families. Each youth was able to purchase up to $100 in merchandise, thanks to the generosity of Club alum and Philadelphia 76’ers star, Donyell Marshall.
According to Mr. Marshall, making it possible for children to buy toys at Christmas is as much fun for him as for the kids.

Theresa Vernon, Glenside club Director, praised the kids for their good behavior in the store and the thoughtfulness of their purchases. “One youth bought a purse for her mom, and another child had a toy in his cart for his brother,” said Ms. Vernon. “Everyone did a great job shopping and we all enjoyed the trip to the store. Many thanks to Donyell for making the holidays brighter for our kids.”
